The Cardano EMURGO BUILD 2023 Hackathon, the largest ever Cardano blockchain hackathon, successfully received more than 100 project submissions from contestants building in one of the following three tracks: derivatives (DeFi), aggregators, and zero-knowledge proofs (ZK).

What was the idea for your award-winning project submission in the aggregator track?
STAND: STAND has been thinking in-depth about revolutionizing the learning approach via a DAO in a more practical and need-based manner. We sincerely want to empower adults to reskill and upskill swiftly in this fast-paced market.
STAND is a learn-to-earn Web3 platform that revolutionizes traditional education and promotes career development and recruitment. In the job recruitment industry, there are issues with job candidates such as difficulty in CV verification, lack of up-to-date learning, and limited curriculums. For employers, there is a shortage of available talent, a lack of systematic assessment, and a costly hiring process. STAND leverages blockchain technology and NFTs to address these issues to offer a practical, verifiable, and affordable solution for both job seekers and employers.

What was the process for building STAND for the two-month Cardano hackathon?
STAND: It’s all teamwork. We enjoyed working on the Cardano blockchain for its advanced features, such as user-friendliness, security, sustainability, and so forth.
What are your thoughts on the Cardano EMURGO BUILD 2023 hackathon? What were the most significant advantages and what were some of the biggest challenges?
STAND: We are impressed by all the amazing projects that participated in this largest-ever Cardano blockchain hackathon and demonstrated genuine innovation and advanced technological solutions. The biggest advantage, as mentioned, was the ability to build on Cardano with its security and scalability. The biggest challenge is that we wish we had a bigger team to fully implement our ideas more efficiently.
Could you explain how STAND adds value to the Cardano ecosystem?
STAND: STAND is technically a talent incubator and AI-powered recruitment system. We will empower the Cardano ecosystem with customized talents and do our best to boost Cardano project building.
